The applications or websites listed on this webpage are seen to be useful for Curtin staff and students who are travelling. They are not endorsed by Curtin University, nor are they mandatory.

Reimbursement for paid applications

Whilst the majority of the applications/websites listed on this webpage can be accessed free of charge, it is important to note that any charges for iTunes applications are linked to your own personal iTunes account. There is no central iTunes account to purchase applications for staff iPhones.

If you believe a paid application is critical to your employment at Curtin, please discuss the possibility of reimbursement with your line manager BEFORE you purchase an application. The possibility of a reimbursement is solely at your department's discretion and should not be assumed.

Global roaming

As these applications or websites will require data usage, please be aware of your data usage - particularly when overseas. Global roaming charge rates are extremely high and you should always turn OFF Global Roaming whenever possible. Please contact CITS Service Desk (08 9266 9000) for more information. If you need to set up global roaming, login to the CITS website for information.

IT Support

As these applications/websites have not been developed or maintained by Curtin IT Services (CITS), no IT support will be available from CITS for these applications. It is recommended you contact the company or developer for support through the appropriate channels.
